A United Front
I am sure as a country overall
We wish for peace, not war
But sometimes things happen
That we just cannot ignore
The fact is a war has started
And regardless of our views
We need to stand together
Not protest it and accuse
Think of all our troops who
Left their homes behind
Said all of their goodbyes
Unsure of what they’d find
They need to be our focus
The subject of our prayers
As they fight against terror
And its many evil layers
Let’s give them our support
Despite our feelings or fear
A positive and united front
That all the world can hear
