After the September 11th attacks, I received many links to pages with inspiring poetry, prayers, and tributes. I decided to create this God Bless America section to share some of them with all of you; as a way to show my patriotism; to share my feelings about this event through my own poetry; and to share the insights of others as well.

At the one year anniversary, I was not prepared for how much I would be affected. I was brought to tears easily and felt some of the overwhelming feelings of sadness and anger that I felt after it happened. It made me realize just how horrible this event was for those who were directly involved if it could cause such a strong reaction in me when I live hundreds of miles away. My prayers are with all of those who have lost loved ones or are simply trying to get their lives back to some sense of normalcy after their difficult experiences.
