Walk With Me

Today I would like to take a walk
Down memory lane with you
To recall the times we laughed
And the things we used to do

Then could we just sit for awhile
As I have some things to say
That I may not have said before
Or not often enough along the way

I would also like to tell you that
I am proud of your brave fight
To hold on tightly to the hope
That everything would be alright

As our visit today comes to an end
I am going to simply give my love
For you to carry within your heart
As you journey to God’s side above
