I wrote this poem as a dedication to little Eric Jacob who was born on November 21, 2001 to my good friends Randy and Sue.

God's Treasure God presented you with A precious gift from above Perfect in every way Sent to you with love As you gaze upon his face And count his tiny toes The love you feel inside Wells up and overflows Hard to comprehend How this life came to be A miracle in your care To love for all eternity Providing for his basic needs Giving love and comfort too Being there to guide him Teaching values that are true Treasure every single moment As he will grow up so very fast Create loving memories to hold In your heart where they will last Lisa Jo Ewert Copyright© November 2001
