Link between sisters; strength of steel
Truly a blessing this love we both feel
Tale of past, present, and future love
A legacy described by the title above
Survivors of the usual childhood fears
Maturity resulting from formative years
Shared memories of our numerous life trials
Trudging through with our different styles
A few regrets exist, from times past
Luckless events, fate saw fit to cast
Those times are gone now, thankfully
Like faded photos; a page in history
Very different people; personality wise
But friends nonetheless with family ties
A mutual sharing of hopes, dreams, and fears
Unconditional support in times of sadness and tears
A sense of peace in knowing the other is there
Assurance in the fact that we truly do care
A love that will last for this life and beyond
Two souls joined by a sister's unique bond
