Hello to everyone and welcome to all of those who subscribed since my last update. I had such a wonderful response to my last newsletter and I want to thank you all for the support and encouragement you send my way. Every note or message means a lot!

Gift of Freedom "Merry Christmas From Afar"

As Christmas approaches and I look forward to our many family gatherings, I can't help but think of the thousands of men and woman who are stationed away from home and unable to share that same luxury. The people that I know personally are especially present in my thoughts. This poem was written for one of those friends who will not be home to spend the Holidays with his family. I decided that I wanted to do something that would show him that he is thought of even if he is not here and will hopefully make him feel a little less lonely during a time that is meant for family. Fortunately, he has access to email when time allows and I will be able to send the poem to him across the miles.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of the armed forces and wish them a Merry Christmas. These sentiments also go out to all of the families and friends who will be missing their loved ones during the Holiday Season.

Attention WebTV Users
As I explained in my emails, I purchased an encryption program in order to protect my site as somebody copied some of my pages. Unfortunately, because WebTV apparently does not support "scripting", it's not capable of displaying the encrypted pages. If that is the case, there is nothing I can do at this point, unless I decrypt my whole site. I have kept this newsletter, my guestbook and any new pages code free in order for those on my mailing list to have the ability to access them after I send the newsletter out. You will not be able to access the rest of the site at this time. I hope to find a way around this problem and will keep you updated.
